In the summer months there are weekly kofferbakmarkten (car trunk markets) in our area.

In July, there are navy days in Den Helder. Once a year the navy terrain will be opened for the public and you'll be able to view different kinds of submarines and ships. Marines will be giving demonstrations. At the same time there's fairground in the city
